Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Resource Sharing (RS) at Old Westbury

Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing is free service that allows OW students, staff, and faculty to request articles, books, and other material from other libraries.

Resource Sharing - Getting Books from the SUNY System

Borrowing physical books from other SUNY libraries through our shared SUNY library catalog is called "Resource Sharing".

 

  1. Sign into  (Discovery) Library Catalog. undefined
  2. Search for the book.
  3. When the option to Request the item from another institution appears.Request Item from Another SUNY Library
  4. Select Submit and the request will be placed. 
  5. An email will be sent when the item is available to be picked up at the circulation desk.
