How to Place a Hold on an Item in the OW Library Collection and Schedule a Pick-Up

You can place a hold on books and DVDs from our OW Library Catalog by clicking on  


If the item is not readily available in our collection, submit an interlibrary loan request. 

Before you place a hold on an item, make sure you are signed into the catalog (yellow ribbon will ask for sign-in). 

Once your request has been successfully placed, you’ll receive an email notification when your item is on hold along with a link to schedule a pickup. Click the link to schedule an appointment to pick up your items from the OW library circulation desk. 

When your interlibrary loan items have arrived at the library, you will receive the same schedule a pick-up link to make an appointment to retrieve your items.

Schedule a Pickup Time

  1. You will get an email when your item is ready to be picked up. 
  2. Follow the link and instructions in the email to schedule a pick up time.  Link for a holds pickup time
  3. Confirm the location is correct.  Holds pickup location
  4. Select the date and time that you would like to come for the pick up. If you do not see a time that works for you hover over the time slots so until you see a green box that is the time you would like to come in.   Select time for pick up
  5. After you hit submit the requested time will be reviewed before it is approved.
  6. When the time is approved you will receive another email approving or denying your selected time.
  7. Please arrive on time with your school ID card. A mask and social distancing is required to get into the library.
