Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Resource Sharing (RS) at Old Westbury

Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing is free service that allows OW students, staff, and faculty to request articles, books, and other material from other libraries.
Note: You need an ILLiad account to request articles. Sign in to your account here. 
  1. Go to the Library Catalog (Discovery)
  2. Search for an article 
  3. View text available online  Full Text Finder
  4. Click on  or Full Text Finderundefined
  5. Log into ILLiad  using your OW username and password.OW SSO Log In Page
  6. Information automatically fills the request when placed though Text Finder. Please check that the information is correct.   undefined
  7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and Submit the request. undefined
  8. When the article is submitted you will be taken to the page to show Outstanding Requests in ILLiad. undefined
  9. You will get an email when the article has been filled, you can also check your ILLiad account for the status of the request.
  10. When the article is delivered you have to log into your ILLiad account to view the article.
  11. Articles can be seen by selecting Electronically Received Articles under the View Section. undefined
  12. The article will be available on your account for 30 days. Please save/download or print the article to keep it longer than 30 days.   undefined
