Request an Article from Library Catalog
Note: You need an ILLiad account to request articles.
Go to the
library catalog
Search
for article of your choosing
View text
available online
Click on
Text Finder
Log into
ILLiad
using your OW username and password.
Information automatically fills
the request when placed though Text Finder. Please check that the information is correct.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and
Submit
the request.
When the article is submitted you will be taken to the page to show
Outstanding Requests
in ILLiad.
You will get an
email
when the article has been filled, you can also
check your ILLiad account
for the status of the request.
When the article is delivered you have to
log into your ILLiad account to view the article
.
Articles can be seen by selecting
Electronically Received Articles
under the
View
Section.
The article will be available on your account for 30 days
. Please save/download or print the article to keep it longer than 30 days.
Request a Book from Another SUNY Library via OW Library Cataloig
Sign into
Primo (
Library Catalog
).
Search
for the book.
When the option to
Request
the item from another institution appears.
Select
Submit
and the request will be placed.
An
email
will be sent when the item is available to be
picked up
at the
circulation desk
.
When the request is on the hold shelf ready to be picked up it will also be listed under
Requests
in the
Menu
section of your virtual library card.
You can check the
status
of your request by signing into your Virtual Library Card Account, and selecting
Requests
.
When the book is picked up and checked out the book will be listed in your account under
Loans
.
Due dates
can be found next to the Book in the Loan section.

Search
for the book.
