Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Resource Sharing (RS) at Old Westbury

Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing is free service that allows OW students, staff, and faculty to request articles, books, and other material from other libraries.

Virtual Library Card

  1. Sign in to the library catalog on the top right. undefined
  2. Search for the book.
  3. When the option to Request the item from another institution appears, select Submit and the request will be placed.
  4. An email will be sent when the item is available to be picked up at the circulation desk.
  5. When the request is on the hold shelf ready to be picked up it will also be listed under Requests in the Menu section.  undefined
  6. You can check the status of your request by signing into your Primo Account, and selecting Requests. undefined
  7. When the book is picked up and checked out the book will be listed in your account under Loans.
  8. Due dates can be found next to the Book in the Loan section.

Update Your Personal Details

  1.  Log into your Library Card on the top right. 
  2.  Select heading that says Personal Details.My Library Card Personal Details
  3. Click Edit DetailsEdit Details
  4. Make the changes and select Save Changes at the top.Save Changes
  5. When the changes have been saved a box will say Details saved successfully.   Details Saved Successfully
