The Renovation: What you need to know

For several years, beginning Fall 2011, the library will be recreated.

We're still here

...lending books, media and curriculum material, with computers for students to use, a librarian and lab manager at most times, and quiet space on the third floor.

Usable space is constrained, however, which means that there are fewer computers and less seating on the main floor. We will open a small lab, L305,  on the third floor in order to add 12 computers. We have another lab, L121, on the lower level, which we can open when it is not needed for instruction.

Interlibrary loan material is to be picked up at, and returned to, the Circulation Department. This is actually simpler than past practice and will continue after the renovation.

We will continue to hold library instruction classes in L121, as well as in the New Academic Building.

Print periodicals are in the center of the third floor, and print reference books are on the third floor, ahead and to the right as you come up the stairs.
